Your 2021 guide to Virginia’s PRIDE Festivals & Events

2021 will be a year of reconnection with our families, friends and LGBTQ + allies. The queer communities in Virginia are stronger, more passionate and resilient than ever before. We plan to celebrate PRIDE together in 2021.

Virginia celebrates our equality as the first southern state to sign the law Virginia Values Act in 2020. And in 2021, the passage of more laws will further expand Virginia’s non-discrimination protection for Virginians based on sexual orientation and gender identity. All of these endeavors offer new levels of Welcome and security for LGBTQ + visitors. Virginia LGBTQ + people are finding and sharing more of our queer history nationwide.

In addition to PRIDE events and festivals, Virginia.org/LGBT has numerous self-proclaimed LGBT-friendly hotels, B & Bs, cabins, and campsites where you can stay with family and friends. There are also so many things to do and discover, such as shops, restaurants, distilleries, meaderies, cideries, craft breweries, wineries, outdoor adventures and much more.
